Data Storage
The app stores only:
Usage quota data: Your monthly free-tier operation count (stored locally in SwiftData)
Purchase receipts: Managed by Apple's StoreKit (we never see your payment info)
All data stays on your device and in your iCloud (if you enable it in iOS Settings).
iCloud
If you enable iCloud for CleanCore in iOS Settings, your quota data may sync across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. This is optional and controlled by you through iOS Settings. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Children's Privacy
CleanCore does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect zero data, the app is safe for all ages.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing to access, modify, or delete on our end. All app data is stored locally on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using CleanCore ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CleanCore for personal, non-commercial purposes on your iOS devices.
What the App Does
CleanCore helps you:
Find and remove duplicate or similar photos
Identify large files consuming storage
Convert Live Photos to still images (irreversible)
Detect blurry or low-quality photos
Important: All processing happens on your device. We never upload, transmit, or access your photos.
Note: The app does not provide an undo function. Deleted photos can be recovered from iOS Photos app's "Recently Deleted" album within 30 days. Live Photo conversions are permanent and cannot be reversed.

Subscription Management

Refunds: Managed by Apple. Contact Apple Support for refund requests within 14 days of purchase
Restore purchases: Tap "Restore Purchases" in Settings if you've reinstalled the app
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Review carefully before deletion: Always preview and confirm your selections before deleting
Understand recovery limitations: The app does not provide undo functionality. Deleted photos must be recovered from iOS Photos → Albums → "Recently Deleted" within 30 days
Back up important photos: Maintain separate backups (iCloud, computer, etc.) for photos you cannot afford to lose
Verify Live Photo conversions: Converting Live Photos to still images is permanent and cannot be reversed
Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App
Disclaimers
No Warranty: The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
No Undo Functionality: The app does not provide built-in undo or recovery features. All recovery must be done through iOS system features
Photo Deletion: Deleted photos move to iOS Photos app's "Recently Deleted" album, where they can be recovered for 30 days. After 30 days, or if manually removed from "Recently Deleted," photos are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
Live Photo Conversion: Converting Live Photos to still images is permanent and irreversible. The video component is permanently removed
Storage Estimates: Storage space calculations are estimates and may vary from actual results, especially for iCloud-optimized photos
iCloud Photo Library: If you use iCloud Photos with "Optimize iPhone Storage," deleting photos locally may not immediately free up space if the full-resolution versions are stored in iCloud
Not a Backup Service: CleanCore is a cleaning tool, not a backup solution. Always maintain backups of important photos via iCloud, computer, or other backup services
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
Accidental or unintended deletion: You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming selections before deletion. The app provides preview and confirmation dialogs, but cannot prevent user error
Inability to recover deleted photos: Recovery is limited to iOS system features (Recently Deleted album, 30-day window). We cannot restore photos after this period or after manual deletion from Recently Deleted
Irreversible Live Photo conversions: Converting Live Photos to still images permanently removes the video component
Storage estimation inaccuracies: Actual space freed may differ from estimates, especially with iCloud Photo Library enabled
Data loss: Including but not limited to device issues, iOS updates, iCloud sync problems, or user error
Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from app use
Maximum Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App if these Terms are violated. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
